Hey, NYC and Long Island area friends! Go check out Osteria Leana in Oyster Bay helmed by my high school classmate Chef/Owner Peter Van der Mije. I ran into Peter and his wife Heather at my 20 year high school reunion a few weeks ago and we talked food. When I went out to visit the restaurant last week, Chef Peter opened his fridge showing me about 20 lbs of First Light chèvre. Thank you, Chef! It’s an honor. Osteria Leana is an extremely beautiful restaurant in a perfect spot in Oyster Bay, NY. If you possibly can, go to there.
