Maple Bourbon Fromage Roasted Beets





Maple Bourbon Fromage (3 oz)
3 large beets

1/4 cup walnuts, toasted

2 tablespoons maple syrup

Salt to taste


Preheat oven to 350F.  Cut off ends, then scrub with a sponge with cold water.  Wrap beets in tin foil, then roast for 45 to 60 minutes until tender.  Allow beets to cool, then slice, adding fromage, toasted walnuts and maple syrup, then salt to taste.
